Usually most countries in the world are represented at the mobile congress. Is about stands where startups and companies from each country can present their projects. At MWC 2022 it was planned that Russia would have its own hole, but in the end it will not be like that.

The GSMA strongly condemns the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The situation is moving fast and we understand that several governments are considering broader sanctions against Russia. In light of this emerging situation and considering the tragic loss of life, the MWC seems irrelevant under the circumstances. MWC is a unifying event with a vision to bring the mobile ecosystem together. The GSMA follows all government sanctions and policies that result from this situation. There will be no Russian pavilion at MWC22. Event security is constantly reviewed and adjusted as new information emerges.”

As a result of this decision, the Russian pavilion no longer appears on the Mobile World Congress website. Yes OK, yes, several Russian companies are still present As the Russian Export Centerthe Eximbank of Russia and the Russian Satellite Communications Company (RSCC).
