SkyShowtime lands in Europe and finally gives the first clues about its programming

We already knew that SkyShowtime was going to arrive in Europe around this time: at the beginning of the month it was announced that today, September 20, the service of streaming from Comcast and ViacomCBS would reach Nordic countries such as Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. This has been the case, and it is confirmed that on October 25 it will arrive in the Netherlands and Portugal. Even There is no date for Spain, but it is expected in the first quarter of 2023, along with Andorra and Eastern Europe.

SkyShowtime clears up the question of how unpublished platforms such as Paramount+ or Peacock, or others with very restricted distribution or through third parties, such as Showtime, Sky or Nickelodeon, will reach Europe. It will also broadcast content from NBCUniversal, Universal Pictures and Paramount Pictures: their owners own franchises as attractive as ‘Mission Impossible’, ‘Star Trek’, ‘Transformers’, ‘Ninja Turtles’ and the catalog of indie Miramax, totaling more than 10,000 hours of content.
