The Pro model arrives a bit late

The Black Shark 4 and Black Shark 4 Pro they are practically identical in almost all aspects. They share design, screen and much of their data sheet, but they differ in a couple of things: the processor and the resolution of the main camera sensor. For the rest, technical tie.

And it is that while the Black Shark 4 has a Snapdragon 870 processor and a 48-megapixel camera, the Black Shark 4 Pro mounts the Snapdragon 888 (Qualcomm’s high-end for 2021) and a 64-megapixel sensor. In a nutshell: more power and more resolution.

The screen is the same Samsung AMOLED E4 screen with 6.67 inches diagonal with FullHD+ resolution and 144 Hz refresh rate, something increasingly common in high-end terminals and, above all, in gaming. Speaking of gaming elements, they are very striking side triggerswhich are integrated into the chassis and appear when we go to play, like the old pop-up cameras on mobile phones.

Inside, as we said, we have a Snapdragon 888 processor that, although it is true that it is not a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, should not fall short of power. RAM memory reaches 12 GB LPDDR5 and the storage stays at up to 256 GB UFS 3.1. It also incorporates a liquid cooling system, stereo speakers, headphone jack and a 4,500 MAh battery with 120W fast charge (which is not exactly little).

Finally, and already in reference to the camera, we find a 64 megapixel main sensor, a wide angle of eight megapixels and a macro of five. It is a fairly well-known and standard set of sensors. The front camera, hidden in a hole in the screen, remains at 20 megapixels.
