Decisions, decisions… the weekend is full of offers and it’s up to you to decide what to do with your time, and what not to do. To lend you a hand, we put on the table the wide range of leisure activities for the next few days and we help you decide which movies, television, video games and reading novelties are worth paying attention to and what it would be better for you not to waste your time with.

Three to see, play and read

‘Arcadeology’

A documentary about arcade machines from the eighties that goes beyond a simple nostalgic trip to the games of the past. In this case, this splendid Spanish film focuses on the conservation and restoration work that many fans carry out, often investing their own personal time and money, to have them ready so that they can be enjoyed forty or fifty years after their death. originally came to the bars.

‘LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga’

All nine films in the Skywalker Saga (meaning the original three, Lucas’s three prequels, and Disney’s three recent sequels) are revisited with trademark LEGO building-block aesthetics and humor. This time, in addition, the game comes with novelties in its mechanics that take it beyond what previous installments had developed and perfected. For example, this time we have a curious and simple class system. In a LEGO game! Pure fun, especially for multiplayer co-op.

‘Madman Integral nº 01’

madman

He is one of the most peculiar comic book characters in the independent universe USA, and also one of the most beloved thanks to the charming personality that his creator Mike Allred injected into this unique parody of superheroes, which actually goes much further. He’s a hodgepodge of insane nods to popular culture, with homages to comics. vintage, science-fiction cinema, rock’n’roll and low-class horror. This 680-page volume recovers the stories of the character between 1990 and 1996 and is a perfect gateway to the pop-art universe of Frank Einstein.

Three things better not watch, play and read

‘Fantastic Beasts: Dumbledore’s Secrets’

Of course, if you are a fatal fan of the Harry Potter franchise in its entirety and need a dose of the universe created by JK Rowling like breathing, you have a must-see with this third ‘Fantastic Beasts’ movie. For the rest, the feeling that it is a production marked by bad luck (constant delays, departure of Johnny Depp, Rowling turned into a media monster, Ezra Miller we’ll see how it ends) is palpable a bit in the listless tone of the production: neither the effects nor the settings stand out, the script doesn’t finish finding its own tone and identity, and not even Mads Mikkelsen, the new Grindelwald, finishes shining as we expected. Literally just for fans.

‘Cloak and Dagger’ S1-2

Not all Marvel superhero productions find their place in the sun, and much more so if they are not produced directly for Disney +. This ABC experiment lasted only a couple of seasons, and toyed with the mix of teen drama and superbeings traumatized by their powers. Unfortunately, it lacks some of the edge and darkness that productions with the same tone and style, such as ‘The New Mutants’, did possess, and on the whole it is even softer than the 80s Marvel comics from which it is inspired.

'Moon Knight' wants to revolutionize the Marvel series. For that you need more than good intentions

Godfall Ultimate Edition

When ‘Godfall’ came out a couple of years ago, its release was marred by reviews not entirely convinced of the experiment: although its dedication to the looting, combat and progression without messing around with frills, was technically not quite up to the challenge. This new version of ‘Godfall’ arrives with the promise of having corrected many of those errors: customization and combat have been improved. However, the core of the game, its repetitive story and performance issues are still there, leaving this special edition intended only for fans of the original (if any).
