‘peek-performance’, Apple’s first event in 2022 has ended and leaves us with a new batch of devices. In Xataka we have followed it in detail and in this article we bring all the news.

As the leaks indicated, the event has focused on the hardware. Apple has announced new colors for the iPhone 13, a new iPhone SE, the updated iPad Air, the Mac Studio, and the Studio Display.

iPhone SE (2022): Apple has updated its cheapest smartphone. The exterior design does not change, so the best ones come from the inside: it is an A15 Bionic chip, the same as the iPhone 13, 5G connectivity and an improved camera with Deep Fusion and Smart HDR 4.

iPad Air (2022): the reference tablet of those from Cupertino reaches the fifth generation. Also with continuous design and internal changes: it receives the powerful Soc M1 elk, 5G connectivity, a new camera for Center Stage in Face Time, support for the second generation Apple Pencil and more.

M1 Ultra Processor: Apple continues to advance its own chip development, kicking off its first event of the year with a strong offering of 20 CPU cores, 64 graphics cores. The result? A power of 21 TFLOPS that trigger expectations about its performance.

Mac Studio: The Mac line now has some completely new computers. It is a proposal that incorporates the M1 Max processors, which we already know, and the most recent and ambitious M1 Ultra. It highlights its processing capacity as well as its vertical design.

Apple Studio Display: Mac Studios have a companion. This is the new 27-inch monitor with 5K resolution from Cupertino. A proposal that comes three years after the Apple Pro Display XDR, with a flexible aluminum design, front camera and sound system compatible with Dolby Atmos.
