Otherwise it would not have given another twist to its SuperVOOC technology, which now it comes with 150 and 240 wattsand, what is even more interesting, a technology that promises to extend the useful life of the battery.

Realme has also announced its 150-watt charging today, so the next chapter in this contest will take place in the 200-watt frontier, where OPPO has already shown its cards. And it is that Xiaomi, Realme and OPPO have already announced that they are developing this fast charging technology, so it is likely that during the edition of the Mobile World Congress that is currently being held in Barcelona we will have some more news about its arrival.

In any case, now it is worth investigating the benefits linked to the 150-watt load that OPPO offers us. The times announced by this brand are impressive: 15 minutes are enough to charge a terminal compatible with this technology from 0 to 100, and in just 5 minutes, always according to OPPO, get charge to 50% a 4500mAh battery. Sounds good. However, this is by no means the only interesting asset of this technology.

This new system is designed with 24V/10A technology in the Type-C interface and has three charge pumps, but the power it sends to the terminals can be converted to 10V/24A, thus conforming to the specifications of current devices.

Regarding security and integrity, OPPO states that 240W SuperVOOC takes a “comprehensive approach to security”, thus including the adapter, the charging cable and the phone. The system looks good and, of course, the idea of ​​being able to fully charge a mobile phone in less than ten minutes is interesting. However, OPPO has not revealed when or in which device we will see this integrated technology.
